Photographs from the Aran Islands, off the coast of Western Ireland. These are all from Inishmore, the largest of the three islands, except the first one, which was taken on a brief stop on Inisheer.
Shots from an abandoned lighthouse on Inishmore, near the first stone-age fort we went to see.
The first stone-age fort, with seasonal wildflowers galore!
The second, larger stone-age fort was built near the edge of a 300-foot cliff. Erosion has moved the edge of the cliff to the inside of the fort.
