Lest you all believe that I have only recently become a pillow maker, behold the Waterlily Pillow, which was crocheted by me many years ago as part of what I thought would be a bedspread (I did like three of these things and realized I would die before I made the 30 or so necessary to cover a small bed). Instead, I attached it to a piece of plaid turquoise fabric with a slight sliver thread in it. Actually, it had a strong silver thread, but I turned the fabric inside-out and used it that way, to tone it down. It is hexagonal. Even I find it impressive, and I made it. I don’t think I could even crochet a chain now, much less one of these.
